Moses was a descending High Soul who was assigned a mission by Yahweh to free the Hebrews (descendants of Abraham and Isaac) from slavery and take them to the promised land.
Moses received spiritual revelations resulting in the 5 Books of Moses and the Ten Commandments. He was not allowed to enter the promised land because of an act of disobedience to Yahweh, but his closest disciple Joshua completed the journey, leading the Hebrews to what is now Israel
